Which Type Of Links Our Sites Need?
Sometime before major action for thrashing competitors was link gathering but it has totally changed now. After selected major search engine (Google) quality refresh the way of site promotion has been changed. So, main question is that what we are looking for better SEO results?
Is this which I am going to mention below?
- Giant collection of links
- Links from good PR sites
- Paid links
- Better sites for link exchange
- ?
If your question has matched to these points which has been given above then your business site is going to face some major crunches. Now SEO is not going on like earlier, it has taken a turn with unique qualities. So, now we are going to talk over about links which should our sites really need for kissing top ten ranking.
No Pressurized (Bad) Links
While link collection we need to avoid pressurized links (that links which are not relevant to our site’s theme or not better for our sites), like
- Mostly we collect links through do follow blog commenting which gives instant approval.
- Links through dofollow forum site which takes only registration in place of links.
- Footer links to unmatched (irrelevant theme) sites.
- Links from low quality sites which has been declared for spamming.
Here especially I would like to give an advice to collect links from quality sites. In most Simple manner check quality sites through “Domain Authority” with domain age. It can mostly follow in directory and bookmarking submission. If site has less Domain Authority and site is very old then don’t submit your link over there and has good domain authority then what you are waiting for, just go ahead and submit your link. Install SEOmoz toolbar for getting Domain Authority details
Need to Maintain Link Balance
In this topic I need to elaborate with example. If you collect 100 links in 1 month then your whole links should be divided by link taken sites. I mean to say that in 100 links entire links should come from directory, article, press release, guest blogging, bookmarking, blog posting and some links from other off page activities that can be good (not harmful). So, try to maintain link balance, don’t take only one type of links.
Upcoming Links to Limited Anchor Text
I have found mostly some relevant problem in crunched sites is that upcoming link which comes to some limited keywords. Avoid taking links to some limited or main site’s keywords. For example your site has 10 pages then you can collect link through-
- 10 main and 10 secondary keywords
- Domain
- Long tail keywords
- Keyword phrase
- Keywords with brand name (Use pipe for putting brand name)
Be ready for accepting new challenges with quality refresh which can boost you upside or downside also.
